We've all been off the pitch and away from the club for too long and we now want to shine a spotlight on the return of rugby by asking you to come to our Pitch Up for Rugby weekend on 11th, 12th and 13th September. We'd love to see all members, players - old and new to come to Pitch Up at the club and kick the season off with a bang.
If you haven't played for a while and fancy trying it again or if you are completely new to the sport you are very welcome.
On Friday evening, Social Touch is starting again at 7pm. You will be most welcome to come along and have a go, cheer them on and see what we are about. It's great fun for both men and ladies for 15 year olds upwards. All Covid-19 guidance is followed throughout the session.
On Saturday morning the Under 16's and 17's will be training using Touch throughout the session. Any Year 11 and Year 12 boys who are interested in giving rugby a try will be made most welcome. It starts at 10am
On Saturday afternoon there will be a intra-club touch tournament for the Senior Players from 1.30pm. If you'd like to watch the session, come and play or just fancy a drink you will be welcome.
On Sunday morning there will be lots of action going on from 10am.
The Baby Bears (Under 6's), Under 7's, Under 8's, Under 9's, Under 10's and 11's will be training
Under 12's, 13's, 14's and 15's will train at 11.15
The Girls section will train at 12.30pm
Please bring along any interested boy or girl to join in with their age group - they can have a run with the team whilst playing touch and have a real feel for the game and the fun they can have! It would be even better to bring a friend!!
All Covid-19 guidance is followed throughout the sessions. We ask that you follow the guidelines which are displayed clearly around the ground and in the club.
Please do not attend if you have any symptoms of Covid-19.
