The Club is very sad to hear the news that Ken Towe passed away on Friday 20th November.

Although Ken never played rugby himself he has been a member of our Club, sponsor and supporter for a very long time.

Ken was often to be seen at the club cheering on the 1st team, especially when son, Richard,  was playing.

The club extends condolences to his wife Maggie and sons Nick and Richard and their families at this sad and difficult time.

Ken's Funeral Details.

Ken's funeral is on Friday 11th December at St Mary's the Mount RC Church, Glebe Street, Walsall.

Due to current restrictions we are not allowed to gather outside the church but many people have suggested that they would like to 'line the route' in order to show their respects, socially distancing of course.

The funeral party will leave The Courtyard, Hill Street, at 14:15, heading down Ablewell Street, up Town Hill and very slowly past the Lyndon House. They will follow the road down and turn left into Caldmore Road and then into Glebe Street to be at the church for 14:30.

Ken will then travel to Sandwell crematorium for his final journey.

Whilst we can't give Ken the 'send off' he deserves. we will have a celebration of his life as soon as we are allowed to where all will be welcome.
