THOMAS 'SANDY' POWELL

It is with great sadness that we have to inform you of the death of Sandy Powell on Tuesday 22nd June.

Sandy played Fly Half at Pontypridd before coming to Walsall Rugby Club when working at Barclays Bank in Birmingham.

He is a former Club Captain, Coach of Mini and Juniors and long time member and the part of our original 'Tafia'!  A much loved and respected member of Walsall Rugby Club for many, many years who will be sadly missed.

Sandy's funeral will be on the 16th July at Aldridge Parish Church, at 12.30.  

We extend our condolences to Sandy's wife Margaret, their children Anne and Gareth and the rest of the family and his friends.
